Charlie Hinson
Outreach Minister
Tabernacle of David
I was raised in a German Missouri Synod Lutheran church but was saved from a druggie lifestyle at the age of 17 during the Jesus movement. Listening to Pastor George Bogel on the radio I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in August of 1971. Romans 1:17 has been my motto for sharing the Gospel ever since. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God!
I have been privileged to serve as a pastor in four churches, and have been an associate pastor in several others. I have ministered in TX, AR, MI, PN, and New Brunswick, Canada. I had the joy of being mentored in ministry by Dr.’s Robert and Glenyce Doorn during the 80’s. In addition to starting and administrating nine Christian schools, I worked leading teen camping groups, including many from the Jewish Community Center of West Bloomfield, Michigan.
I am a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute (75) and Kingsway college (87). Jesus committed to me the task of helping believers grow in anointed prayer, teaching and outreach to the whole world. To reach the world faithfully we need fellowship in Jesus! I have found that at Tabernacle of David / Call of the Bride ministries.
